There are three things you cant tell by looking at these gorgeous images of this fort worth family.
1- it was over 101 that day
2- they had a rough day before their session
3- they had wardrobe malfunctions
That is just another reason why I get a kick out of photography, you show what you want people to see. I wanted people to see their family bond, connection, and love and that is exactly what we ended up with! What you didn't see is me so red, so sweaty and so gross running around making sure I capture every moment in my camera. I get to focus on those moments that are going to matter in 5, 10, heck 30 years from now... I know I did a good job at a family portrait session when after the shoot I get emotional while I edit the images.. and that is exactly what happened with this session.
We held their family portrait session at one of my favorite parks. Not only is it my favorite because it is only six minutes away fromy Haslet studio, but its also gorgeous! This park has a lake, a creek, a waterfall and tons and tons of open fields! Every time I go its a different experience and its where I have held 90% of my portrait sessions the past year. So when Gina told me everything she was hoping to accomplish for her session, family portraits, mommy and me, nursing images, and my very first 1st year smash cake images I just knew my favorite park would be perfect for them!
Family sessions are full of laughter and well.. chaos. ha! They might be a little crazy but I absolutely love it! Its the first day of August which means summer is coming to an end and fall is just around the corner! Fall is my busiest season and most popular for family portrait sessions! I still have room in my calendar to book your sweet chaotic family's portrait session, but I wont for long! click below to book or to get more information =) I look forward to hearing from you.
